Interfaces

  • Programming Interface
    One of ProSteel 3D's very special properties is the ability to apply simple programming to the entire system in Visual LISP or Visual BASIC.

    The user can write a small program for repetitious construction tasks, which serves just this one purpose. This makes it possible to process even complex processes including the automatic generation of an entire hangar or hall. Contrary to a conventional variation technology, ProSteel 3D allows not only for a form modification but also a real shape change due to logical queries.

  • Statics Interface
    This interface may be used to import an already existing static directly. Based on the read data, ProSteel 3D generates the corresponding model. The bi-directional interface also allows the reverse. The many functions of ProSteel 3D may be used to generate a pre-construction with ease, which then can be calculated by an external statics program (e.g., RSTAB by the company DLUBAL). After any possible optimization of the shape sizes, they are automatically exchanged in ProSteel 3D.

  • NC Data Interface
    The output of NC control data according to the conventions of the DSTV is available as an additional option. The geometry data of ProSteel 3D are imported directly from the 3D model and saved in project-related directories according to position number. The further processing and direct access of the NC machine is then carried out using post-processors of the respective machine manufacturers.

  • PPC Interface
    This interface gives you the opportunity to export your parts lists data from ProSteel 3D to another PPC program (project, planning, and control system). The data are exported in ASCII format.
    The PPC data generation is carried out according to the DSTV interface description CAD parts list.

  • DSTV Product Interface
    This interface is also rather important in the steel construction industry and is supported by ProSteel 3D in its current version, of course
