3D–2D Update

As already discussed at the beginning of this chapter, the designer is immediately informed about model modifications resulting in changed workshop plans. This example shows the automatic generation of a left brace including the schematic depiction of add-on pieces (option within the detail style).

The corresponding details within the detail center GREEN are depicted after the workshop plans have been placed. In case of a modification – in this case the position GI2 (HEA140) was exchanged for a HEA160 – all drawings no longer current are marked in RED.

The user now has the option to update individual position numbers, entire building groups, or the entire model with just a click the mouse.
