Detail Center The detail center is the central switching station interfacing between the 3D model and its derived 2D shop drawings. The detail center is rendered in the form of a dockable AutoCAD dialog in the Windows Explorer style. From here, the user controls all processes of the 2D drawing generation. From a structured building component overview of the construction to the subsequent modification management during the finishing phase - all program actions and information are handled by the detail center. The strongest impression of this new powerful technology can be gained when modifying the construction. After the detail center reports any building component modifications to the designer by marking the changed components he or she can then set the update process into motion. If the update is activated while the construction plans are open, one can track all changes to the individual building component views, which are "magically" replaced by the current construction status.
