To define a rib, just select the shape and the position of the rib. Several construction forms and length are available. These ribs may also be inserted at an angle – the angle can be selected based on any edge, line, or angle. You can also position the weld marks on the supporting shape and generate NC data.

In addition to the many parameters for defining the rib dimensions it is also possible to specify the weld marks separately for flange and web. The different parameters can be saved as templates and are available to other functions (such as plate connections).
