Shear Plates

Another frequently used connection variation are shear plates. They can be defined directly via the lower area of the dialog box. You also have the option to enter frequently used parameters directly into the database where they can be quickly selected from tables. Shear plates van be attached to the left, right, or on both sides of the shape. In addition to the number of screws and the screw diameter you can also specify such settings as distance from edge, intermediate distances, vertical sets, etc.
