Properties

Due to the complete integration of ProSteel 3D utilizing the Object ARX technology all shapings of a shape display the appropriate properties, which can be accessed with the normal AutoCAD function.

Just as the color or layer of a line can be changes, all associated properties and shapings can be accessed via one dialog box. It is not possible to explain this incredible function in detail at this point. Since some of the properties are self-explanatory, only the most important ones are explained at this time.

View

• Shape Class/Size
  The shape may be exchanged with any other shape type and/or shape size at any time. All edited elements such as drill holes, polycuts, and joints are taken into account.

• Display
  Six (6) different display modes are possible for individual or groups of shapes, WITHOUT loss of information (see illustrations).

• Drill Holes
  When needed, drill holes can be shown in different display levels or ignored all together. The information itself remains intact, of course.

• Options
  In addition, it is possible to display a variety of additional information, as shown in the illustration, using the menu item "Options."

• 2D
  This option may be used to either display or hide the edges of all building components. The display adapts to the current view angle.
