MWF Design
Powered by WoodWorks®

MWF Design is a special version of StrucSoft’s MWF wall framing software that now includes wood design capability. This package provides designers using Autodesk’s Revit Structure© with a seamless bi-directional integration with the most popular wood design software in North America, WoodWorks® Sizer.

Connectors MWF Design is an extension to Revit© that allows it to automatically transfer support conditions, spans and loads to Sizer for engineering. The full power of the WoodWorks® Sizer’s design engine is used to size wood beams, columns, joists and studs according to the latest NDS or CSAO86 wood standards.  Designed wood components and support reactions are transferred back to Revit© where the model is automatically updated.   The user can iteratively go back and forth between Revit Structure© and Sizer as many times as desired

MWF Connectors
MWF Design links to a comprehensive library of Simpson Strong-Tie© connectors and  comes with  an intelligent placement tool that chooses the optimum connectors based on end reactions as well as the properties of the supporting and connecting members
MWF Design is offered as a stand-alone extension to Revit© or as part of MWF Professional.
