AutoCAD to DSTV
In addition to the stand alone version mentioned, CMS is also available as an add on to Autocad® 2008 and greater thus allowing the user to rapidly produce DSTV (nc1) files for any structural steel shape present in an AutooCAD drawing as long as the drawing is to scale.
If the drawing contains multiple parts (gather sheets) then the user can pick the parts of interest. so if the same drawing has six separate parts, CMS will produce six different dstv files
