This application is built on the technology developed by FCC Software AB of Sweden, for generating flat patterns from all kinds of single curved models. AutoPOL Unfolder is a stand-alone Windows application, completely independent of any CAD platform.
With AutoPOL you easily design and unfold 3D sheet metal models. Models may also be imported from other CAD systems. All kinds of single curved solid and surface 3D-CAD models can be unfolded with AutoPOL Technology.

AutoPOL Technology is available in different versions.

- As an application for Mechanical Desktop 4, 5, 6 and 2004 called
AutoPOL 8DT.
- AutoPOL Designer for Windows as stand-alone or as application for AutoCAD to create parametric 3D sheet metal solid models.
- AutoPOL Unfolder for Windows for stand-alone use or for use together with any other CAD software. With Inventor and SolidWorks the Unfolder uses built-in links to make the work fast and easy.

Flat pattern data is configured in AutoPOL and customized for export to most NC systems, used with Press Brake simulation and tooling.
